This sounds too good to be true, and I really hope it is true. For the purpose of writing this post, I checked out zennioptical.com for online eyeglasses, and the prices blew me away. Prices of eyeglasses, yes complete eyeglasses, start at a paltry $8.00, a small fraction of prices I am used to paying at so-called reputed chain stores. Even with my vision insurance, I pay copays more than that amount. Well, until and unless I try zennioptical.com myself (which I will), I am unable to vouch for their products and services myself. However, I did find an “independent” review on Examiner.com. The reviewer claims he has “exactly zero relationship with Zenni optical other than being a satisfied customer”, and gives them great grades.

The company claims that it is able to offer such low prices because there are no “middlemen”, no retail-space overhead, and practically no advertising budget. I would recommend checking this website out for your next requirement of eyeglasses – prescription or otherwise. Personally, I always research a company before buying anything online from them, and that is what I’d recommend to you too. However, from what I have seen so far, this seems to be something worthwhile to try, with little at stake. | Disclosure
