Gmail has announced addition of another nice feature to Gmail Labs: auto-complete in search. You need to enable this feature in the Labs tab of your Gmail settings. Once this is enabled, as soon as you start typing in the search box, it looks up email addresses in your contact list and displays matching addresses that you can search for. It would be nice if it also let you use auto-complete for text in your email. In fact, that would be awesome.

Gmail Search Auto-completeThere are more features of this auto-complete functionality that you may want to explore, e.g., whether there are attachments, what attachment type, etc. See the original post on the official Gmail blog for more details. What is good is that it worked well with multilingual addresses.
